Rest assured that help is available for your pet, no matter what time it might be needed

Whenever your pet falls ill or gets injured, it's understandably a worrying time for you. That's why we provide an emergency service, which is accessible to you 24 hours a day.

Our opening hours

We are open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm (except on Bank Holidays) and on Saturdays at the Oldbury surgery from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm.

If your pet needs urgent treatment during opening hours ring your nearest surgery immediately.

Our surgeries are now closed but we still have emergency cover.

For non-urgent enquiries

For normal enquiries please phone us between the above times.

For a more serious but not a life-or-death problem

If you are uncertain how serious it is and need advice on what to do, you can get free advice NOW from one of our Vidivet partner vets. If you do not already have their app, click the link below for the surgery you normally attend. It will take a few minutes to download the app and contact the vet.

Harborne                    Oldbury                    Wednesbury

Note that Vidivet is a permanent benefit for members of Pal For Life but the above links will give you temporary access to help you with an urgent problem.

For life-or-death emergencies

If the problem is so serious that it will not wait a few minutes, you should immediately contact the Vets Now emergency clinic at Longbridge in Birmingham or in Wolverhampton city centre.

Vets Now is a separate veterinary practice from Orchard Vets and has its own set of fees. Please remember that out of hours fees are higher than normal fees and you should expect to pay between £400 and £900 or more, depending on the problem. Pal For Life members may be able to claim some of these fees back.
