Orchard Veterinary Centre overview

For almost fifty years the Orchard Veterinary Centre has been trusted by thousands in the West Midlands to care for their pets.

Our three fully equipped sites, at Harborne, Oldbury and Wednesbury, offer a wide range of services providing for almost all your of pet's needs.

Our team of fully qualified vets and nurses are here because they have a deep compassion for animals, working tirelessly to help the pets we treat, and reassuring you that your loved ones will always get the best care we can give.

Qualified

All of our nursing staff are qualified, which is not always the case in veterinary practice, and many are trained in-house because we are a registered training centre. Having only professional people caring for our patients ensures that we provide the very best service at all times.

Unique

Unique to our practice is our Pal For Life scheme. Started in the recession of the 1980s, our aim then was to help the people of the West Midlands afford the best veterinary treatments and preventive medicine. When you register your pet with us you, too, have the opportunity to benefit from all it offers.

I’ve been with Orchard Vets for 15 years and wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. The friendliness and caring nature of the staff exceeds expectations. In the past year I’ve had to have two of my amazing Shih-tzu’s put to sleep (due to old age) and the way my fur babies and my family were treated will remain with me forever. Likewise, with regular appointments and emergency appointments for my puppy they are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Really amazing staff! They were so patient and caring with my cat. We had to get some tests and treatments for moving her overseas and the OV vet Jamie was incredible. Highly recommend this clinic.

Wouldn’t take my two staffie boys anywhere else, younger one went to puppy classes with Natalie so he has no fear of going to see the vet now and knows he will get fussed and a little treat! My older, anxious rescue recently had to have 8 teeth out and he was cared for really really well, I swear he was made such a fuss of that he was disappointed to see me when I went to collect him!

A massive heartfelt thank you to the vets, nurses and support staff at Orchard Wednesbury for the care and devotion that they delivered to Annie our chocolate Labrador throughout her life. We sadly lost her aged 11 just over a week ago. As a family we were and remain heartbroken. But the staff here made sure Annie’s passing was pain-free and as natural as it could be. The vet joined us, on her knees so that we or Annie didn’t have to move. Nothing was rushed and we had as much time as we needed. When we are ready to have another beauty The Orchard will again be our chosen provider of animal care. Thank you again to you all.
