Ozzy's big comeback!
13th June, 2025Here at the Orchard Veterinary Centre, we have qualified physiotherapists who are dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation programmes tailored to each patient's individual needs. We offer physiotherapy sessions and, since moving to our state-of-the-art surgery in Oldbury, hydrotherapy sessions to suitable patients.
One of the recent successors of our rehabilitation service is Ozzy the therapy dog. As a working boy, it was important that Ozzy had a speedy recovery following a ruptured ligament.
Once his wound healed, Ozzy was able to start building up his muscle strength with the use of our hydrotherapy pool. This also helped with a bit of weight loss, as he’s often rewarded at work with treats!
Our rehabilitation services can be used to combat a number of issues including stiffness and pain caused by osteoarthritis, orthopaedic conditions such as hip dysplasia, neurological conditions or muscular weakness and to aid post-operative recovery after joint surgery or fracture repair.
