Terms and conditions for Orchard Vets Facebook competition

By entering the Orchard Veterinary Centre promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Information on how to participate and prizes form part of these terms & conditions.

 

PARTICIPATION

1. This promotion (“Promotion”) is being run on behalf of Orchard Veterinary Centre, Oldbury, B69 1AD

2. The Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”. These are individuals who: (i) are legal residents of England; and (ii) are not directors or employees of the Promoter or any of its related companies or any of their agencies associated with the Promotion and (iii) are not a spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such an employee and (iv) are a registered client at Orchard Veterinary Centre

3. The Promotion opens at 10.00 am on Monday the 22^nd April 2024 and closes at 11.59pm on Friday the 26^th April 2024 (“Entry Period”)

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

4. To enter you must have a registered Facebook account and the participant must be a valid client of Orchard Vet Centre at either Oldbury, Harborne or Wednesbury. Entries made via Instagram will not be counted. 

5. The participant must like or follow us on the social media platforms fore mentioned and must be a registered client of the Orchard Veterinary Centre.

b. The entrant must upload a photo, taken by them, of their pet to the comments section of the post made at 10.00am on Monday 22^nd April. Images uploaded to any following posts will not be counted. The winning photograph will be the image with the highest number of likes by the end of the entry period.  

c. The winners will have a £20 credit applied to their account with the Orchard veterinary Centre. There is no cash alternative.

h. Comments and likes after the closing date will not be accepted.

i. Closing date for entry – Friday the 26^th April 2024.

WINNER

7. Winners will be contacted and notified that they are a winner by the Promoter via private message on their registered Facebook account before end of day on Tuesday 7^th May 2024. If winners do not respond within 30 days then the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify them and redraw a new winner on the terms or choose a new random winner on those same terms.

8. The winners will be the persons who owns the Facebook account through which the entry was submitted. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winners, the Promoter may either determine the winners in its sole discretion, or refuse to award the prize.

9. In the event that a winner is aged under 18, the prize may be awarded to their parent or guardian.

10. Participants will only be eligible to win one prize per entry. If an entry is chosen in any of the prize draws that has won a prize in a previous draw, that entry will be disqualified and the prize will be re-drawn.

11. The winners’ names, personal information, images, voice, likeness and photographs may be used for publicity purposes and the winners agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose (without compensation).

12. Winner will receive a £20 credit applied to their account with the Orchard Veterinary Centre. There is no cash alternative. 

 

GENERAL

13. The Promoter has the right to refuse any entry which contains material which is offensive, injurious, obscene, vindictive, indecent, immoral, aggressive, sexually oriented, racist, derisive, slanderous, discriminatory, or in any other way not in line with good taste and decency or the spirit of this promotion, or which the Promoter deems in its sole discretion to be otherwise unacceptable.

14. The Promoter’s decision is final in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Promotion is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Promotion.

16. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by human error, problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Promotion.

17. The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of this promotion including any prize at any time in its sole discretion.

19. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, and entrants agree that Facebook is not liable for any loss or claim that relates to this Promotion.

20. Data will not be collected by Orchard Veterinary Centre, but will be held on Facebook.

21. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Promotion or prizes, including: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant Party; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death.

22. Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable it to administer the Promotion and publicise its winner(s), the personal information will only be used for the sole purpose of conducting the Promotion, including the Promotion administrator.

23. Prizes are non-transferable.

24. By submitting a photograph to this competition you give permission to the Orchard Veterinary Centre to use your image in further publication, such as, but not limited to; printed leaflets, on the centres website or in further social media campaigns.
